A State of Becoming (2018) is a VR installation that invites audiences to contemplate the role of expanding technologies in collision with the interplay of offline and online culture. Situated theoretically within feminist studies and ideas of embodiment, this work is a response to the way we have come to build and understand digital representations.

This piece was made by pushing the boundaries of the photographic apparatus, creating an immersive piece through the use of cameras and advanced editing software.

Note: Whilst this piece can be viewed as a 360° video, the full effect is realised only through use of a VR headset.
